The marketing dashboard is a way for you to measure and manage your marketing efforts. It’s a way for you to stay focused so you know where you want to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your efforts.
The bottom line is you want to make sure that your marketing is contributing to increased revenues and greater profits!
NOTE: You should only change the blue, bolded variables on this worksheet.

Instructions for using the Dashboard:
Enter your current monthly information. Obviously you should be as honest and accurate as possible
- Plug in the actual number of leads you currently generate on a monthly basis
- Plug in your lead conversion rate (i.e., how many of your leads become an active client each mo.)
- What is the number of transactions you currently have with your new clients?
- What is the average revenue dollar value of each transaction?
- Enter your current profit margin (percentage of profit left after expenses and taxes)
Now you can see how an increase in any of these variable would impact your monthly revenue and profits. Clicking on the Yearly Dashboard tab below will give you a view of any yearly impact.
For example, a 60% increase in the number of leads you currently generate would mean an extra $2,500 in revenue and $1,000 in profits (using the numbers indicated above).
Appropriate focus on these variables and the activities related to them is how you grow your business.
- Increasing the number of leads your generate each month
- Increasing the percentage of leads you convert into paying clients
- Create more offerings so that you can increase the number of transactions you sell to each client
- Increase the average dollar value of each sale that you make (maybe simply raise your fees)
- Increase your profit margin through improved efficiency and/or reduced costs
