Throwing money at marketing has never been something that works in the absence of a plan.

However in recessionary times it is also not a good idea to completely cut back all your marketing activities. In such a climate it is more tempting than ever to look for the lowest cost option. This may yield great value, but make sure you stay on track and on target and don’t get seduced by the “offer of a lifetime!”
