<p>The marketing dashboard is a way for you to measure and manage your marketing efforts. It&#8217;s a way for you to stay focused so you know where you want to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your efforts.</p>
<p>The bottom line is you want to make sure that your marketing is contributing to increased revenues and greater profits!</p>
<p><strong>NOTE: You should only change the <span style="color: #0000ff;">blue, bolded</span> variables on this worksheet.</strong><br />
(This worksheet is not protected, so changing other cell values will make it inaccurate)</p>
<p><strong>Instructions for using the Dashboard: </strong><br />
Enter your current monthly information. Obviously you should be as honest and accurate as possible</p>
<ol>
<li>Plug in the actual number of leads you currently generate on a monthly basis</li>
<li>Plug in your lead conversion rate (i.e., how many of your leads become an active client each mo.)</li>
<li>What is the number of transactions you currently have with your new clients?</li>
<li>What is the average revenue dollar value of each transaction?</li>
<li>Enter your current profit margin (percentage of profit left after expenses and taxes)</li>
</ol>
<p>Now you can see how an increase in any of these variable would impact your monthly revenue and profits. Clicking on the Yearly Dashboard tab below will give you a view of any yearly impact.</p>
<p>For example, a 60% increase in the number of leads you currently generate would mean an extra $2,500 in revenue and $1,000 in profits (using the numbers indicated above).</p>
<p>Appropriate focus on these variables and the activities related to them is how you grow your business.</p>
<ul>
<li>Increasing the number of leads your generate each month</li>
<li>Increasing the percentage of leads you convert into paying clients</li>
<li>Create more offerings so that you can increase the number of transactions you sell to each client</li>
<li>Increase the average dollar value of each sale that you make (maybe simply raise your fees)</li>
<li>Increase your profit margin through improved efficiency and/or reduced costs</li>
</ul>
