Keeping up the effort in the holiday season has a couple of particular benefits:

1. Your efforts can count for more when most others have relaxed
2. It lessens the time taken to get back up to speed in the New Year - you don&#039;t have to accelerate your efforts if you didn&#039;t slow down in the first place.

That isn&#039;t that you can&#039;t relax over the festive season but, as you point out, you can still keep the marketing/networking antennae up</description>
