Helping Small Businesses Take Action For Greater Marketing Results!

This post is about some ways to start off the week with a positive marketing mindset… for Sydney and others who are trying to get past any negative marketing mindset (see Friday’s post on Negative Marketing Thoughts).

How you think and feel about marketing has a big impact on how well you do it for your small business. If you don’t believe that you are a small business marketing person, then you likely won’t get the results you hope to get.

If on the other hand your thoughts are positive, then your marketing efforts will be more effective. Take action with a positive marketing mindset to move you in the direction you want.

Here are a handful of declarations to get you in a positive marketing mindset:

(1) “I am responsible for the success of my marketing.” The health of your business is the direct result of your own actions. Be careful of buying into the notion that you are just not a marketing person. Successful small businesses create their own marketing successes, they don’t just happen for them. Believe it for yourself as well.

(2) “I learn about marketing from successful marketers.” When you take advice from other small businesses that are struggling to realize much success, you’ll likely find yourself in a similar situation. Look to successful marketing mentors who have proven that they know how to get results.

(3) “I see marketing opportunities all around me.” Some people see the obstacles and all the reasons why various marketing techniques won’t work for them. Be open to the opportunities to learn. Successful small businesses constantly see reasons and opportunities to keep putting their core marketing message out there.

(4) “I play the marketing game to win BIG.” Small thinking leads to small results. Big thinking leads to BIG marketing results. Instead of making your goal to find one or two more clients, get out of your comfort zone and set higher goals.

(5) “I love to receive new marketing insights.” It’s not possible to know it all when it comes to marketing. The thing that keeps great marketers achieving great success is their willingness to continue learning more. Keep an open mind for new marketing ideas and concepts that you can work in and test in your marketing efforts.

(6) “I market my business with INTEGRITY.” Your business adds value to your clients’ lives. When you realize this, you can stay focused on delivering a marketing message that articulates who you want to help and what challenges you want to help them solve. You marketing with integrity and not a bunch of guilt-filled hype and hyperbole.

Think positive and take action to achieve your small business marketing results. When your inner voice is bringing you down with negative thinking, say these declarations out loud to turn your mind around.

Have a FANTASTIC marketing week!
